Career Technical Education
At American Canyon High School, we are dedicated to preparing our students for success in school, careers, and life. Through our Career Technical Education (CTE) program, students gain hands-on, real-world experience by engaging directly with local industry partners and utilizing career-specific equipment. Our programming is strategically focused on high-value pathways that align with high-demand, high-wage careers, ensuring our graduates are ready for the challenges of the modern workforce.
Importantly, these courses are designed for everyone; they require no prior knowledge, fulfill both high school graduation and UC A-G requirements, and offer unique opportunities to earn college credit and industry-aligned certifications.
The Career Technical Education (CTE) program offers students hands-on, real world experince within specific industry pathways at each high school. CTE students engage directly with local industry partners through job shadows and workplace tours, using career-specific equipment to prepare for high-demand fields.
